Dear all Staff at Benjor

Thankyou so much for making our day a very special one. We could not have asked for a better setting or more friendly people.

A big thankyou to Nola for making me stress less and making the whole wedding an enjoyable events. Everything was perfect from the archways, the flowers and the food was to die for. The buffet put on by the chefs was amazing and our friends and family are still raving on about how beautiful it all was.
Even though it rained most of the day, the fact you always had a back up plan or something up your sleeve was amazing and the whole day ran smoothly and perfectly.

The staff were amazing and always very friendly. you made us feel very welcome from the second we arrived. We already miss having drinks on the decking. We will defiantly be coming back and staying with you again.

To anyone who is thinking of having their wedding at Benjor do it. They will do anything to make your day special and the food is amazing.

Thankyou so much

Benjor Beach Club - WOW! In desperate need of a truly relaxing break - yeah, a HOLIDAY I believe it used to be called - I was not disappointed. Dilemma after dilemma confronted me from time of arrival: What to choose from the exquisite menu, Where to sit in the gorgeous open-air restaurant to ensure the best view for the time of day, Which cocktail to try, and Which wine from the extensive list would best complement my meal? Fortunately, there was always help at hand!

The staff at Benjor? Rate them World-Class! They're absolutely committed to ensuring your every whim is catered for. Each time I'd come back from a morning or day of 'gruelling' adventuring, I was greeted by a fresh towel, crisply made bed, and a stunning floral arrangement clipped from the local surrounds. Happy hour? Man! I was happy for the whole 264 hours I was there! My bed was so comfy I didn't want to get out, but I didn't want to miss a second of any day.

The weather wasn't that great, but every effort was made by the Benjor Team to ensure I enjoyed my stay. Their recommendations of great places to visit ranged from sightseeing, and active stuff like kayaking, great walks and the best places for scuba/snorkelling (which turned out to be right on the doorstep!) - even a "ME" day at a Spa! ooohh how indulgent! Going by the day's forecast, they developed my 'list of possibilities' from fabulous restaurants at spectacular locations around the island, Cascade Falls (OMG everyone must do it!), the 'coral gardens' in Havannah Harbour, or the best place to sit and read a book out of the breeze, under a shady tree and just listen to the lapping of the sea - actually I never finished that book as I was so relaxed I kept dozing off!

I don't think I've ever been anywhere where people actually seem pleased to see you - they SMILE - yeah, All The Time! And the house-staff sing whilst they're working - that was the coolest thing to wake up to after a 'nano nap'! Oh!!! That, and the pesky sound of the sea and the occasional dropping coconut - yeah, what an annoying disruption to my "Z" time! Moreover, nothing was too much effort - all I had to do was ask! I could ramble on for hours about how fantastic this place is, but I don't want too many people discovering my little secret...

My précis: If you want a Low Budget "Booze Up" with crowds, noise, and heaps to "not do", go to Benidorm. If you want a Megabux Boutique Break, maybe the starchy pristine-ness of St Barts or Bora Bora are more your style. But if you want a great value, fair dinkum HOLIDAY where YOU get to choose, I can't recommend Benjor highly enough! Seriously - put your watch on Vanuatu time and book into Benjor: I arrived DIstressed and left DE-stressed! Only 364 sleeps till I can go back! TWO THUMBS UP!!!!!

Visiting from: Canberra

I wanted to pass on to you how fabulous the staff, facilities, food and feeling was at Benjor Beach Club.

We were in a 'Spa Villa' which was a nicely spaced room with spa bath/shower, kitchenette and private water front balcony - perfect.

On arrival we were immediately greeted by Nola who ran us through "Vanuatu Time", facilities available, currency, transport to Port Villa, restaurant etc all while we were sipping a complementary tropical fruit drink.

The staff were all pleasant, professional, relaxed and happy to have a chat with us to answer all of our curious questions about their islands, villages and local info all with a genuine, polite friendly manner and lovely smiles.

I have been speaking highly and happily of our quick visit and would take the kids (and husband) back for another holiday in a heartbeat.

As I sit here back home in Canberra on an overcast day barely 14 degrees, our trip to Vanuatu last week was a big bowl of chicken soup for the soul!

Visiting from: Brisbane

A quick holiday from Brisbane - only 2 and half hours flight time. After checking out numerous places to stay in Vanuatu I chose Benjor and we were not at all disappointed.
We were stressed before we left Brisbane but immediately upon arriving at Benjor the atmosphere of the beautiful villas started our unwinding.

The staff are excellent. Nola and David are very welcoming and friendly and do not hesitate to make sure your stay is excellent. All the staff at the resort are very good. The food at the restaurant is great. Everything about the place is great. We stayed in an ocean room villa and how wonderful it is to have the ocean basically right outside your door. The rooms are clean, quite large. There was a ceiling fan and a pedestal fan but with the windows/doors open you do get a lovely breeze.

It is located out of Port Vila about 15 min bus ride but this is not a problem. Fred at reception will order a bus for your transport.

This was our second time in Vanuatu and if we ever decide to go back again we would not hesitate to stay at Benjor again.

As it is a small boutique resort you are known by your names, you get to know all the staff and you also get to know and talk to a lot of the other guests in a tranquil setting.

So summing up - you will not be disappointed at Benjor Beach Club.

Last week was one of the most relaxing holidays Ann & I have done. Your resort is welcoming, informal, helpful and a pleasure to stay at.

Yourselves and the staff that work their provided not just service but a friendly and family atmosphere that we were part of. Your local knowledge and recommendations such as the walk back from Mele Cascades provided a great experience to us.

The Officer's Club evening meal was always one of  highlights of the day. All the meals were fantastic, and you menu provided a reasonable variey of good local food that was prepared excellently.

The rooms were comfortable and large enough. The bed was great to sleep in. The grounds were well kept and interesting. We enjoyed staying at Benjor. It was value for money.

A stay at another resort, (on another island), was not as comfortable and provided far less freedoms and choices. The menu offered less variety and was not prepared to your standards.

The only change I would suggest is to have the ceiling fans directly over the beds, maximising the air at night.

We shall be recommending Benjor Beach Resort to anyone that wishes to go to Vanuatu. Please use this recommendation as you wish.

Visiting from: Wellington, New Zealand

In March this year, we stayed for 10 days in one of the Benjor Spa Villas for our honeymoon. It was fantastic - the resort was huge, and we loved exploring the beaches & relaxing at the pool.

The food at the Officers Club restaurant was divine, and we ended up eating there almost every night! The staff were friendly, especially Morson and Fred, and everyone helped to create an atmosphere that was perfect for our honeymoon. It was very hard to leave after the ten days... many thanks to Benjor for their hospitality!!
