The iconic 3.2km swim around Vanuatu’s Iririki Island returns this winter. The 3.2km Iririki Island Open Water Swim is one of the biggest swimming events each year in Vanuatu, sponsored by BRED Bank and Air Vanuatu. For those that love to swim and want to challenge themselves this winter, this event is not to be missed. Swim solo or join a team and enjoy swimming around one of Vanuatu’s most unique islands. Although the temperature drops a few degrees during the winter season, Vanuatu’s water temperatures stay warm all throughout the year, providing perfect swimming conditions no matter what the season is.
